Midday, as the sun passed over us:
Chas dangled from my arms like a marionette,
complaining that I wouldn’t let him swim.
I inadvertently pissed off the fish.
I think it was my shirt.
Ford asked me to retrieve a berry,
he later pelted me in the head with it.
I fed Chas avocado chunks, but he didn’t eat much.
I worried that he isn’t eating enough.
While Ford asked “which is faster, ‘x’ or a satallite?”
Where x = many, many, many different things:
jet planes, cars, space shuttle, rocket…
Oh to be pelted in the head with a berry! I like these pics, excellent little snaphots. Ill be stalking your blog again soon…!
I love you post, beautiful shots, what a poetic day! Maybe it didn’t feel like that all the time, but you have done a great job at reflecting its magic.
Thanks
Your photos are fantastic! I love the warmth and summer food they convey, too.
great series of photos! so colorful!
You are inspiring me to be more creative with my camera! My children have become such posers–I can’t seem to snap a shot without catching their attention!
Great pics & thoughts ;-)C
AHh–that has been my kind of week as well. Inconsistant to say the least. I loved your descriptions: “like a marionett” and “where x equals manny many things.” Such perfect little fragments.
I also learned from this SPT that you have an exquisite sense of style. If we every hang out, we’re going shoping and you can teach me 🙂 six.five days out of seven I’m wearing jeans and a sweater. Ug.
